Lord’s Agape Recovery Center (LARC) uses the ECLECTIC APPROACH which is unique, tailored fit and customized to suit the patient’s needs and goals to recovery.
This program aims at applying a holistic approach, which is an integration of different treatment approaches complementing each other in order to create the most suitable and highly effective healing process fit to the individual’s case. It could be a combination multi-disciplinary team approach, therapeutic community approach and spiritual/faith based approach which ever could lead to a better satisfactory therapeutic outcome. In essence, LARC seeks to heal and strengthen the body-mind-spirit connection.
Lord’s Agape Recovery Center (LARC) implements a Christ-centered and Bible based recovery programme which seeks to address issues by finding sobriety through spiritual healing. LARC quotes this as “SOBRIETY the Work of Spiritual Connection”. In this program, the patient works through the 12-step recovery programme together with the 8 principles to develop and deepen relationship with GOD. It aims to improve dysfunctional, compulsive, and addictive behaviour by applying the biblical principles of conviction, conversion, surrender, confession, restitution, prayer, quiet time, witnessing, and helping one another in order to restore and develop stronger relationship with GOD, family and others. LARC seeks to provide a supportive and nurturing environment that cultivates peace, joy and freedom from hurts, habits and hang-ups towards a positive change.
Complete Medical Examination – upon admission, the patient is scheduled for his medical examination i.e. laboratory tests and vitals. This is to know if the patient is capable of staying in a controlled environment and if he has defects on his physiological functions to be relayed to their co-dependents so as to be supported by them.
Psychological Evaluation – Mental State Examination is standard process of the center. This is included in the Psychological evaluation given to the patients three or more days from his admission and maintain thru his stay for his recovery.
Psycho-Social Evaluation – Social group has huge effect to the psychosocial development of one’s person. As this evaluation encompasses the psychological development in a social realm of an individual, environmental interactions including socializing with other residents are noted as it reflects to one’s recovery.
Counseling – The major way to the clarity of one’s mind is through counseling. Having direction in life, realizing what he really wants and his purpose throughout his journey living would be coming from counseling. Moreover, identifying the source of his thoughts and behavioral pattern will be recognized through counseling.
Individual, Group and Family Therapy – This works with families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change and development. This also emphasizes family relationships as an important factor in psychological health. This program involves families (co-dependents) in solutions that often benefits clients.
Education/Vocational Services (Preparation) – The center goes beyond rehabilitation to ensure that each resident gains a chance to reinvent themselves, the best way to perform with excellence and pride in quality. While most of the graduates reintegrate to society through employment.
After Care and Follow-up Services – This happens when the graduate reports to the center at least once a week and is required to regularly attend family spiritual formation. Moreover, said program focuses on behavior modification. This program anticipates the incident of relapse particularly from the client with multiple disorders.
Self-Help Support Group – Self-help concept utilizes LARC Community as the primary vehicle to foster behavioral change. Lord’s Agape Recovery Center is a sanctuary where one can feel, experience, know and nurture the self. This center may surface the valued tasks which result in growth of the residents as well as community.
Spiritual Support Group – In perspective view of individual the ability to change direction and condition of their lives with systematized belief in the role of the “GOD” in recovery. This program allows residents to integrate their experiences in the context of prayer, reflection and sharing to come to know GOD personally, is as much a part of recovery. Spiritual will lead them to a covenant with “GOD” in keeping alive the values of faith so as to become catalysts of social transformation.

2. No pending criminal court case

4. Motivated or willing to finish the rehabilitation program
